The Grand Canyon

Our final stop on this 4 day road trip was the Grand Canyon. The drive took a bit longer than we expected and eventually we only had about half a day for our visit of the Southern Rim. We quickly noticed that it would be a bit tight to visit all different view points with the shuttle service in operation. We tried nevertheless, giving us a similar feeling what I assume people have on Europe in 3 days vacations. Still, it was totally worth it. My camera was almost out of battery so I tried to take as few shots as possible.

Most viewpoints are not far from each other. With more time, the walking track on the Southern Rim is probably the best way to enjoy the scenery. We had to hurry to make it to our designated sunset viewing spot. After two pictures, the battery in my camera was finally flat, giving me more time to enjoy the Canyon.
