San Francisco

Here are some pictures taken during my stay in San Francisco in late June. As I was attending a conference, i did something i usually would skip when traveling alone: A boat ride from Pier 39 passing the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz was part of the social event. And it turned out great, even a couple of the mysterious sea lions showed up on the posts to lazily greet the departing vessel.

A week later, when we came back from Yosemite, we did a little detour after our lunch in Berkeley so we could drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. Luckily, there happened to be a traffic jam so both of us could enjoy the view. Here is picture before we went over the bridge from the lookout at the Golden Gate park.
