Possums in Melbourne

A wonderful thing about Melbourne is that the parks are packed with possums! You can see the cute little climbers waking up in the trees shortly after sunset. They are usually quite interested in the observer, hoping you brought some food with you. I doubt that human-food does them any good, but you can tell by the slices of toast bread on the trees, that they definitely don’t reject it. Still, it’s a bad idea, some naughty possums are apparently quite skilled in raiding picnics.
